great jobs done by our officers--part one

fellow toastmasters,

as a president of our club, i am really proud of my officers (amanda, shelly, les, jane, lesley, faye and honorable ipp jonathan). in the beginning of 2004-2005 term, the officer team has done a lot of good jobs for our club.

1. amanda
our evp, she has arranged everything to create each high quailty meeting we have had so far. she's been working so hard, but i don't think you have felt having any pressure when she asks you to play any role for the meetings. lately we changed out meeting agenda by adding word bank column. that's also a good job done by amanda. beside her hard working, she can also deliver a tremendous speech to entertain us. what a great job done by amanda!

2. shelly
our mvp, she's been working so hard in recruiting new members. in fact, she's not only succeeded in member recruit but also done a good job to link us together. where do you thnk this bulletin board come from? besides the work she's done for the club as an officer, she can also deliver wonderful speeches for us and do the excellent grammarian job( the best grammarian job in our club history....) as well. unfortunately, shelly will suspend her membership due to some personal reasons. however, i believe she'll be back in six months and the club will always wamly welcome her. still, what a great job done by shelly!

3. les
our prvp, a person who's really passionate but always keeps in low key. he's kept doing the pr job very well but i guess some of you might not know that. some examples are that he joins other clubs' meeting and networks there; he keeps contacting some potential alemax members from ale and tries to make as much effort as he can putting the potential members to the our meetings. this sort of work is definitely not easy and can't be seen, but a ' silent hero' like les is always a necessity for an organization. what a great job done by les!

4. jane
our treasure, money woman, the person who keeps all of our ah-money. she's a professional accountant in her regular job. you are very lucky cause your president won't embezzle any dollar from your ah-money under her supervising. besides keeping our money well, she sometimes 'take' some resource from her company to do the stuffs for our club( like nametags......hope this won't be seen by her boss.....hee!). anyway, we need jane to avoid bankrupting since alemax is still a 'poor' club. what a great job done by jane!
